Tell Me More - What's Next?

If you're new to faith and would like more information about how to start your journey as a follower of Jesus, here are some simple steps:

• Read the Bible: Start in the New Testament (such as the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) to learn about the life, teachings, and character of Jesus.

• Talk to God (Prayer): Begin an honest, daily conversation with God, sharing your thoughts, questions and doubts, and asking Him to reveal Himself to you.

• Reflect on Core Beliefs: This decision can be summarized through simple steps—often called the A-B-C method:

  • Admitting your need for grace and a Savior

  • Believing in Jesus’s death and resurrection

  • Confessing Him as Lord of your life

• Visit a Local Church: Find a welcoming local church or small group where the Bible is taught as divine truth, and ask to speak with a pastor or mature believer. We would love to be that local connection for you.

​​

• Connect with Other Followers: Surround yourself with other believers who are striving to be true followers and who can answer your burning questions.  They'll also be able to provide spiritual support and encouragement through life's ups and downs. Joining a Bible Study or Small Group is an excellent step to accomplish this.

• Be baptized: Being baptized is an outward, public declaration of a person's faith in Jesus Christ.
