Giving

Giving to a church, organization, individual in need, or other ministry effort is a voluntary act of worship and gratitude that reflects a believer's role as a steward of God's resources, not as an owner. Rather than an obligation driven by guilt or legalism, biblical generosity flows from a joyful and willing heart in response to God's own grace. These financial contributions directly sustain the church's daily operations—such as staff salaries, facility care, and local ministries—while also fueling community outreach, care for the poor, and global missions.

True giving begins when we look at our lives and realize that every breath, every blessing, and every resource is a gift loaned to us by a loving Creator. When we bring our tithes and offerings, we aren't just transferring funds; we are laying down a piece of our lives as a fragrant offering of praise. It is a moment of profound surrender that whispers, "Lord, my security is not in my bank account, but in Your faithful hands."

Generosity is the language of a heart captivated by the gospel. We give because He first gave so extravagantly to us. As our gifts keep Abundant Life thriving,  break down barriers, feed the hungry, and share the light of Christ with a broken world, something wondrous happens inside us as well—our hands loosen, our faith deepens, and we are molded into the image of a giving God.

Giving is never an expectation or obligation, and you will certainly never feel pressured to contribute to our ministry. If you do feel led to give to Abundant Life, you can be confident that our church carefully allocates the funds for ministry purposes. The leadership never takes lightly their responsibility before God in financial areas.  We do not "pass the collection plate" at Abundant Life.  If you feel led to give, there is a wooden box mounted on the back wall of the sanctuary or you may use the link here to give online. We use Servant Keeper as our online giving platform.
